Square Patterns.

Hi all,
I had much fun today in creating these three art cards, done in CPs and Pen. I wanted to keep to the square shape, very different from the circles, with the patterning quite bold and repetitive. As with all of these designs I never know exactly how they will turn out, and chose not to use a ruler to make the lines exactly straight as I feel that adds to the quirkiness of the piece. These will be cut to 2 1/2 x 3 1\2 inches, which is ATC/ACEO size. This has given me some inspiration to try something very similar but on a much larger scale, perhaps 11 x 14 inches or if I am really brave even bigger!

You are very talented, keep up the good work. You inspired me to grab my pencils and notebook and I drew something and posted it on my blog http://www.wholenessblog.com/reflections/that-which-you-own-owns-you it is nothing fancy. This is the first drawing I did in many months.
Thanks for showcasing your art here and inspiring people like me to pick that pencil and express themselves.

Hi Vic,
Very groovy indeed! I love the circles and the squares. Thanks for sharing the zentangle link.
A cross between a doodle and a zentangle, humm...I think a larger scale piece would be great - go for it!
