Aceos and Atcs.

Hi all,

I had a comment on my last post from Marianne ( she makes beautiful cards go visit her blog for a looksee) asking what are Aceos? Some time ago I did make a post about the difference between these two, so for anyone who is not sure here is a quick update.

ATCS.

Small miniature works of art measuring no more than 3 1/2 x 2 1/2 inches. All formats acceptable, painting, quilting, drawing, digital, mixed media, encaustic etc...great for adults and children alike. These cards must only be TRADED/SWAPPED between parties and can be done via forums, yahoo groups,or even via your blog or website. For anyone interested here are some links.

Artist Trading Cards This site is where it all started in Switzerland and well worth a visit.

ACEOS.

These came after ATCS, and are exactly the same measurements as ATCS, but the one big difference is that these are made to be SOLD only. There is a strong selling community of artists on ebay, etsy, artfire and other various places on the net, and some artists do quite well with them. Originals or prints is ok along with all the other types of formats. Here are some links.
