Cat ATC Card

Hi all,
Well this is my last post before my break, and I managed to get this card done today. I am not always too confident with cats eyes, and find getting that glassy/reflective look quite difficult, but I am happy with this one. It has already been spoken for in a trade and will be winging its way across the great blue soon. Coloured Pencils on Stonehenge, 2 1/2 x 3 1/2 inches.
I shall catch up all stuff on my return, hopefully feeling all fresh and invigorated with new ideas.

Aceos and Atcs.

Hi all,

I had a comment on my last post from Marianne ( she makes beautiful cards go visit her blog for a looksee) asking what are Aceos? Some time ago I did make a post about the difference between these two, so for anyone who is not sure here is a quick update.

ATCS.

Small miniature works of art measuring no more than 3 1/2 x 2 1/2 inches. All formats acceptable, painting, quilting, drawing, digital, mixed media, encaustic etc...great for adults and children alike. These cards must only be TRADED/SWAPPED between parties and can be done via forums, yahoo groups,or even via your blog or website. For anyone interested here are some links.

Artist Trading Cards This site is where it all started in Switzerland and well worth a visit.

ACEOS.

These came after ATCS, and are exactly the same measurements as ATCS, but the one big difference is that these are made to be SOLD only. There is a strong selling community of artists on ebay, etsy, artfire and other various places on the net, and some artists do quite well with them. Originals or prints is ok along with all the other types of formats. Here are some links.

Aceos and Mandalas

Hi all,
Kind of been a busy week, and my pencils have been working very hard, which has been great. You can see two of the finished pictures to the right, a couple more abstract cards and the finished pink mandala. Talking of cards going through my collection I have quite a few that I would be happy to trade out as it has been a while since I have done this. It is so great to look forward to receiving your own little art cards in the post from another artist somewhere in the world. I am going to put up a page on my webby with a new Picasa Album and have the cards listed there for anyone who might be interested in a trade....drop me a comment or an email and let me know if you are interested.
On my previous post I had comment from an Internet pal about Mandalas, basically what is a Mandala, so here is a link to a great site that gives alot of info and has some great Mandalas from artists worldwide...What is a Mandala

Adsense Privacy Policy

Hi all,
The previous post on my blog is directed at Adsense's Privacy Policy, and I have to own up to being utterly confused when AdSense rolled this out, so much so that I did not do anything about until now. My sense of conscience got the better of me, and I made a post in the AdSense forum asking for help, which I kindly got. Now I don't know if I have got this right or not, but it seems by making the post and creating a text link to it, so it has a permanent home is the way to go. The actual document was copied and pasted from a blogger who has kindly allowed others to use it, obviously changing web address/details where needed. If any other bloggers have any input on this, please post a comment and let me know your thoughts.
